My cat follows me everywhere

I adopted my cat about a month ago and I can tell she's really attached to me. every night she insists on sleeping in my bed, if I try to close my door when I sleep she scratches the door and carpet until I have to let her in.
She also follows me pretty much everywhere around my house. Whenever i'm in my room she's right there beside me, whenever I get up to go around the house she's not far behind. Whenever im out for the day and come home she comes and greets me at the door.
She even follows me to the bathroom and whenever I come out shes always sitting/laying at the door.
Also she's obsessed with my dirty clothes, if theres a shirt ive worn recently all she wants to do is lay on it.
Is this behaviour in a cat normal?
In my family im the one who feeds her/changes litter and takes care of her so im wondering if this could be just a loving bond or does my cat have separation anxiety.

Don't worry about it, you just have a very friendly and loving cat.

Enjoy your purry friend and show her lots of love.

My cat follows me around a lot too, often purring away nearby. And she occasionally sleeps on my head. Really nice in winter, not so much in summer.
I have to move her, cause a warm cat hat is not ideal for summer nights.

It's hard to say if your kitty has separation anxiety. Find the symptoms here: http://bit.ly/reduce-cat-anxiety
My elder cat was also very very sticky and clinging to me until I adopted my young cat. He takes much time to chase with his new friend and only meows at me when he is hungry. And I feel alone sometimes...lol

I had a cat that used to answer the door with me whenever somebody came to the 🚪.

Some cats hate people and only stick around for the free food, some can take us or leave us, and some are clingy.

Since your cat only recently moved in with you, it's possible she's still figuring out how things work in her new territory, making sure there are no hidden threats or possible new sources of food, what your routine is, and so on. She might eventually shift to the normal cat mode of sleeping for sixteen hours a day, or maybe she'll always be a cuddly cat.
