Every time my cat sees a black person she doesn't run away. when ever my white friends come over she runs away. But when someonr who she has never seen (who is black) she doesn't run away
My dog is that way. I got her from an unstable home when she was about 8 months old. She doesn't like dark skinned people, hoodies, hats. My sons best friend is black. Have known him for 10 years. He is over all the time. It's embarressing. He's tried feeding her, sat on the floor trying to make friends. No use.
It was the total opposite for one of my cat haha ! White people was ok. He always ran away when someone came in anyway. But the first time he saw one of my Black friend, he got so scared and ran the hell out of the house as fast as possible. I've never seen him so scared. Guess it must be his color vision that makes appear black people particularly frightening haha
my dog is this way, whenever she sees a black, gypsie persson she attempts to bite them, also if u smell of animal poo like cow poo she would try to bite u, dont know y though, shes just racist
Cats have their preferences for other people same as we do. It was probably responding to something else about the person, though, not their race.

Years ago I lived in a predominantly black neighborhood an got a black chihuahua from a local shelter who absolutely hated black people with a passion. My guess is her previous owners were black and abused her. It was incredibly embarrassing when my neighbors came over to visit but thank God they always had a good laugh with Lola. That little devil was a little off but she was the cutest thing ever.
My puppy hated homeless people. He never growled or got worked up unless he saw a homeless person in the park. He hated them. I imagined he was telling them to get a job. I explained to him that homeless people usually like being homeless because they don't have and responsibilities, but he wouldn't listen
was she in a bad home before where the ppl where white? that's the only reason i can think of that would make any sense. I knew ppl with a dog that hated dark ppl, mexicans,black anyone dark because he was abused by dark skinned mexicans before he got a new home.still kinda weird. my cats love everyone. LOL
