My cat takes my food

My cat wants to eat everything I'm eating! She LOVES human food. I know most cats like to eat meat and such, but she likes to run off with my speghetti noodles, Kraft Dinner, Mr. Noodles, potatoes, veggies, cookies, pizza, etc. I'm serious! I have to constantly be watching to make sure she doesn't run off with all my food. I don't like her having too much table scraps, especially since she's a pure-bred Siamese, so it can't be too good for her. I always take her to her food dish so she knows to eat her cat food. But she just keeps coming back to take my food! Is it normal for a cat to be like this? (She's sooo insanely cute, and she meows at me for it, so it's hard to say no!)

P.S. My cat is very healthy and is not overweight at all. She just likes to eat my food... and then runs off all the calories!

    My kitties only want their cat food or tuna, but I've known cats to eat everything from cereal to cake to watermelon. Every cat is different.

    my cat use to eat everything. he use to eat tomatoes and lettuce and cucumbers! now he scowls at it and gives me that wtf do you think i am a dog?? look on his face when i offer him a tomato or piece of lettuce!ever since i got him he was a stray. and after being with me for almost1 yr he stopped eating table food out of no where
    he use to try to steal my food to. but i spanked him on his butt! and he would bite me! so i put him in time out! and that worked. so every time he was bad to me i spanked him and put him in time out in the bedroom! and he knows he is in time out! he knows not to even try to open the door cause i will spank him even more if he opens the door!
    i say Spanky time!and he runs the other way! lolol
    he is so funny i love him to death
    i just mess with him when i say spanky time lol he knows it too. just like when he does things to annoy me just because he can. i do the same to him lol

    Lol, my cat loves cake. I think it's kinda hilarious, but I hardly ever eat cake, so neither does my cat.

    It's not healthy for an animal to eat human food. It takes away years of their life.

      Yeah, that's why I don't encourage it! Lately when the cats bum from me, I have some cat treats ready for them. That way they think they're getting my food, but in actuality they're eating cat treats!

    My dog does that every single day... I will be liiiike, Buddy, dont eat my pizza pops! The next minute i look over... MY PIZZA POPS ARE GONEEEEEEE! BUDDY! XD

    My cat constantly begs for food and latches onto my leg and fights me for my breakfast and gets into pizza boxes on top of the table. He's has a bit more fat than he should and I'm equally as worried about him.

      Wow, your's sounds really demanding! I gope he doesn't gain much more weight. Might have to put him on a diet - or at least give him less human food.
