My city is a dump because of the amount of homeless people

There are homeless people not just sleeping on sidewalks, but setting up their crappy furniture everwhere like it's their home. The sidewalks are black with grime in some neighborhoods. I stepped in human feces the other day. Is it normal that I think they should be thrown in an incinerator or rounded up and buried somewhere? A lot of people I talk to agree.

    Wow, and people on here think I lack compassion!
    Just how many of those homeless do you think are there by choice? Do you have any idea of why there are so many homeless in the US these days? It all started with the Reagan administration.
    Instead of being an asshole about it, why not get off you ass and DO something to help solve the problem?
    But no, it's so much easier to sit high on your horse and look down at those less fortunate than you, right?

      Why should we. I dont want to be a homeless smelly piece of shit and i dont need to empathize with them either. It serves no purpose to empathize with them except to reinforce their bad habits. If anything, they should walk a mile in our shoes so they can learn how to stop being so disgusting and just live a normal life already... We would all be better off...

        You don't need to, that's the problem now is that we are guilt tripped and shamed into feeling like this when there is no reason people should be. Most of the same homeless people have absolutely nothing wrong with them other than the fact they choose not to work a job and just want to get stoned all day long. Well if that's the existence then go live in a tent in the woods or that dumpster behind Burger King I say. Just stay the fuck out of my way.

        Even if they are mentally ill, its still not our fault. Did you cause them to be mentally unfit?? I know I didn't. Its why I respect nature so much, animals like that don't exist, if one animal in the group cant pull its own weight the others turn on it or abandon it.

          Its not very difficult to be homeless nowadays. Pretty much everywhere you turn in a big city people are handing out free stuff. Plus it wouldnt take very long to make a friend, somebody who could give you a closet to sleep in. Hell, if a homeless person genuinely asked me for help (not just some spare change) at the very least i would make some phone calls, give them some food and clothes and set them up real good somewhere. You are right, they CHOOSE to be how they are. In the US today therr is really no excuse for being a dirty smelly homeless person

      I hate when people have comments like this. I don't know about the US, but Canada only gives like 0.25% of GDP for international aid. This is definitely not enough to fix poverty here. If you want to look at places to take money from, look at the large corporations and military spending

    Most of them are mentally ill or have no family. Do you really think anybody of sound mind would want to live that way? I give them food or clothes and even sometimes cash.

    Most homeless people are infinitely more interesting than their home-having counterparts. Mental illness, child abuse and other factors contribute to their inability to get or keep jobs. Add to that the fact that you can't own a home near a city anymore on an average salary and rental rates have increased as a consequence of that and the result is that it's never been easier to find yourself homeless.

GET THE FUCK OVERYOURSELF. how would you feel if you lost your job your life and your home, just because you're sitting in front of a computer doesn't mean you'll be there your whole life... i hope god serves you with being homeless for making a horrible comment like this... YOU are what makes your city look like trash.
