Alright. My dog is psycho. He gets in the trash, eats my painted Easter eggs, and even
rips our underwear! It's soooo annoying, and
everyone else thinks it's cute! He also
goes crazy when stangers are around. He barks and yelps and jumps on people! Sometimes
when he's hungry he snacks on his doo-doo
outside. Is that a problem? Or more
immportantly, is it normal?!
Giving him pineapple will make him not want to eat his poop. My dog digd in the trashcan keep baby gates around or lock the trash
I think thats just a training issue mybdog is the same if its really active you should play of be active with her/him sometimes
Yeah, keep training. I recently got a lab puppy and he's a ton of work. He's pretty well behaved at home, but outside and when other dogs and people are around...that's another matter entirely.
If he's eating his poop, it could be that he's missing something in his diet. I'm only guessing here - perhaps you should ask the vet.
Keep training. The thing most people think when getting a puppy is that it's already trained and will be fine.. Nope. They are pains in the butt. Mines jumps on everyone too, but i never see it as a problem cause i love the greetings at the door when i get home. When i have friends over, i put her in the bathroom, with food and water. Her bed and a few toys. Only for a while then i let her out and she knows thats why she was in there.
My dog is like that sometimes but I understand exactly why she is the way she is. I know that its really all about the master...me...and I've stopped caring cuz I can't seem to make a meaningful connection to her. Its a bummer cuz I sorta kno I'll never take her back to the humane society where I got her and will be stuck with her for another decade or so.
All that is perfectly normal for a dog.. he rips your underwear because you have lots of scent glands in your crotch so your underwear will smell the most like you so your dog likes it.. not sexual in any way. The barking yelping and jumping is just due to lack of socialization. Eating feces is also normal for dogs. It's often due to poor quality food. It doesn't get digested and to the dog the poop still smells like breakfast. You can either buy better food or you can buy pills at the pet store that will keep your dog from eating his poop. By the way... good quality food means the first ingredient is some type of meat.. not corn or other grains. Hope you didn't euthanize.. they are all common easily fixed problems.
You have to train your dog if you want it to behave.
