He's just trying to love up on his master (not in a sexual way). He loves you.

  • My dog does too. A habit I never minded. Unfortunately other people find it annoying when she does drive-by lickings.

Did anyone happen to get the license plate of that dog who just licked me?
      Too funny :-D
He is just showing his affection, how can someone get bent out of shape over that?

Moonbow is a great example as to why so many prefer dogs over humans. I know all my canine babies are far more intelligent and far less ignorant than this moron called, "Moonbow" ugh! #GODHELPUS

Not it's not normal and its a result of not training your freaking dog! In addition to all the other diseases dogs can pass along to humans, if you have a scratch on your hand or anywhere else that filthy fleabag licks you, you could get capnocytophaga, a flesh-eating bacteria in dog saliva. First, your hands and feet will rot off, then your flesh will gradually continue to rot away until it kills you. Those who have gotten this disease say the pain is indescribable and they welcome death. Don't believe me? Google capnocytophaga.

I sat here and read your responses. First of all, lose the fucking attitude you uneducated piece of shit. Secondly, you sound like you don't know shit about animal behavior. You're the type of person that because they don't like something, EVERYONE has to know it. I mean really, "they don't show affection" "filthy fleabags" and "diseased animals." YOU'RE the disease, kid and the only way to fix a disease like yours is to end your miserable existence. So if you read this, when you're done, go drink some bleach or stab yourself to death. Rotten ass piece of shit.

If you don't want to the truth, the don't ask the question. Train your damned dog to behave itself and you won't have to worry.

I didnt ask the question. lol I dont mind my dog licking me as long as its not in my face. Hes just showing affection and that he loves me. Its not about training, my dog is very well behaved and listens.

So let the filthy POS keep licking you. When your hands and feet start rotting off, it won't be any great loss anyway. The world would be better off without people who wallow all over dogs, let them lick them all over, sleep with them, etc. But be careful, in addition to all those diseases you can get from your disgusting fleabag, bestiality is illegal in most states and in a lot of countries.

BTW, dogs do NOT "show affection," they are survival-oriented, that is, food-oriented, and they do whatever is necessary to be fed. Because your fleabag has been taught that in order to be fed, it has to lick you all over, that's what it does. If you don't believe me, have a neighbor start feeding the untrained POS and see how fast it starts licking the neighbor and completely forgets you ever existed!

Whoah whoah whoah, who said anything about beastiality that is fucking gross. And I'd appreciate it if you quit calling my dog a fleabag and shit. Some people, I swear have no affection themselfs. And if they cant show affection then they wouldnt have feelings and I know for damn sure my dog has feelings, and honestly I'd have to say my dog is more loyal to me then any person I've ever known it's not about how well he eats, its about the things we've been threw together my dog never leaves me side. Seriously though, your hatred for dogs and how you talk about them kinda breaks my heart a lil bit, I'm guessing you've had some past encounter that wasnt too pleasant with one?

I never could stand it and never put up with my dogs doing it. Though the current dog doesn't care, despite my growling threats to rip her tongue off.

Note: For those out there who take everything fucking literally...I would not rip my dog's tongue out. Or any animal's tongue. I do not condone such behaviour.

I did bite my dog once, but that was different. She started it.

As long as it hasn't peed on you yet. If it does run for the hills.

It's what dogs do. Part of it is a social thing and part of it is to try to make you smell like them (part of the same pack). You might notice it most when you've just washed or showered and you smell like something other than your natural smell.
