My ear itches/tickles at night

Often one of my ears itches and tickles at night. Sometimes a lot.
I had an outer ear infection last year some kind of skin infection in the ear caused by trapped water even though I dont swim maybe its happening again or im prone to it I just cant see why and why its now all of a sudden. Last year I didnt even know I had it because I called the doctor and lied about my ear hurting so he would give me an appointment because I had headaches but I know they prioritise ear problems so I lied and said that and turns out when he checked that I had an infection like what are the odds you feel me? So that was like woaahhh my man...And now my ear ACTUALLY itches or tickles like a feather like whaaa

    Maybe you need to wash out your earwax like I do every 3 months or se. CVS sells a kit with a softening oil and a bulb that you use to flush out the wax with warm soapy water. The gunk that comes out is gross. Some people have to do it because they just don’t push out the wax naturally.
