My farts smell like my food asap

So I know the food you eat affects the way your farts and poop smell, makes sense of course. But I have noticed lately that my farts smell like the food I ate like just an hour before it. Is that normal? Yes I am one of those freaks that loves to smell my own farts. Does the food travel through your system THAT fast? I would think it would at least be 3-4 hours before my farts smell like my food.

    I don't usually notice this unless I eat Chinese food or a lot of meat/chicken.

      Uh no. Haven't you ever noticed your farts smell like what you ate usually? Your poop can too. It doesn't smell like you want to eat it, but the smell is similar
