My fixed female dog humped me and my cat!

I was sitting on the floor when my male cat came over and started purring. I picked him up and was holding him in my arms, when all of a sudden my fixed female dog ran over to us and started sniffing, and licking my cat, and then jumped up on us and started humping both of us! It was SO weird. I felt really embarrassed that this happened, because my dog is female and she is fixed. IIN?

BTW, she is very jealous of my cat if that adds something to the story or not...

    Its for dominance,not sexual reasons in that case.

    I've seen a female ferret hump a chihuahua before, it's a dominance thing when a female animal mounts another animal.

        Are you sure?? :p I also have an aunt whose fixed female has a bouncy ball just for humping. Its pretty silly. Your dog is bicurious and maybe she wants to get her freak on with different species. Lets not judge her and make her feel bad about her sexuality.

        Animals still seem to get horny even after being fixed. I have a fixed boy and it still humps everything. It is also how they show dominance. You said that it does not like your cat so maybe it is showing it is dominant over the cat.

    Yes. My moms fixed female dog would hump her fixed male cat all the damn time.
