My husband’s grandparents come over without asking?

My husbands grandparents come over every weekend without asking. If we don’t hear them knock they start going window to window and bang on them. I didn’t mind at first but we have talked about having kids soon and I just know them banging on the windows is going to make things difficult. How do you politely ask someone to call first?

They’re nice and I feel bad about asking them to call because maybe they’re just old school. But I wish they would knock politely and not try and break out windows lol

    Lol. My grandparents always just showed up. Bringing milk, diapers and the newspaper. I’m sure once there’s a baby in the house, they won’t be banging on anything. They’re just old fashioned.
