My lovebird fights its own baby?

i had 1 pair of lovbird and then one day the female bird laid 6 eggs. Then, 3 weeks later the male bird suddenly died and few weeks later only 1 egg hatched and the female bird at first took good care of the baby. When the baby was fully grown bird, one day the female bird suddenly started fighting badly and it was like 'hell in a cell'. The baby bird was bleeding so i brought a fence and divided the cage in half. Few days later i removed the fence and again 'hell in a cell'. Now i've 2 lovebirds in one divede cage. Is it normal for a female bird to do that?
Any solution? Is she doing that for a new mate?

That is really bad behaviour. It's NOT normal.

Kind of like when a human parent doesn't want there 35 year old still living with them, the mother bird knows it's time for the baby to move out. In the wild, the bird would have flown off, by now, and built it's own nest (or whatever birds do). Basically, the mother is saying, "Get your grown ass out of my house!" It's just time for the bird to move out is all.

Poor birdies :( boobie birds lay two eggs and when they hatch the bigger chick pecks the crap out of the smaller one and forces the poor baby out of the nest :( there's only enough food for one barely. It was so hard to watch!! That's my sad story

  • That is normal. The baby is supposed to fly away once it is grown, but it can't so now the momma bird has to force it away. Simply using a fence is not good enough as they can still see each other and it is probably causing undue stress for them. Give the baby away or find it a new cage. Buy a new partner for the momma if you think she needs a friend.

Sorry about your loss of your other bird.
