My mom loves the dogs more than me?

Is it normal my mom cares more about our dogs than she does me?? She is always giving them so much attention way more than me... she will tell them how much she loves them but never tell me she loves me..Last week she was out of town and called me to ask if the dogs were ok she did not even ask if i was ok or how i was doing?
I think if she had a choice between me dieing or our dogs dieing she would choose me to die.Is this normal are any other moms like this?

    Ever since we got our dog my mom completely ignores me the only time she notices me is when I'm being yelled at for apparently scaring the dog when the dog isn't even in the same room as me the dog even ran into me and pushed me down the stairs and my mom was like omg is the dog ok???

    AH! I feel the same way!! Ever since that dog came I've been invisible...and it has been a year, god I don't know what to do..just know you're not the only one who feels that way :p

    Dont let get the best of you. Same happened here. My mom would give anything to save her dog, dont know if she would do the same for me

    I know what you mean. I love them and all but ever since those things came home I had to basically bow down to them. My brother used to be the favorite and now her dogs have taken over my house. I never had a mom really.

    Damn, it's not the dogs' fault it's mom. Taking it out on the dogs won't endear anyone to a neglectful mother. I would say talk to her openly and honestly about the problem.

    Are you sure you're not being too sensitive? I don't know you or your family, so I can't say anything for sure, but I'm just saying that could be it. My mom is a bit obsessed with the dog we adopted over a year ago, she's always toting her around, cuddling her and telling her she loves her. But she is a very cute dog, and my parents still love their own kids and our other pets. Maybe you should tell your mom you love her, and if she loves you too she'll say it back.

      My mom didn't say it back. She pet the dog as if to say "I love the dog. Not you"
