My mom says i lost weight, but
To me, I look exactly the same as before. I asked other people, and they said I lost weight too, but I just don't see it. Is it normal for me to think I haven't, while other people say I have?

If it's your body, you feel the weight and look at yourself every day. You're too used to yourself to notice little changes. It's like that for most people unless they learn.
But other people, regardless, have breaks between talking to you. They'll notice that change quicker. I notice haircuts right away

But no, not normal. As a rule of thumb, others (excluding maybe an attentive partner) generally require twice as much change to notice things we do.
If it takes losing 5 pounds to notice it yourself, it will probably take 10 for others. It's the same way for putting on muscle too. If you decide to start to start lifting heavier you'll notice the first couple pounds even because you're looking for it but it's going to take a lot more for anyone else to notice you've upped your routine.
That brings up an important question. Were you actively trying to alter your body? If so, yearning for additional results might be making you downplay your accomplishments.
If this just kind of happened, it's still odd you wouldn't be able to tell but perhaps if you never paid much attention it could be normal.
