my partner of 3 years hes 56 makes comments about how pretty a 25yr old women is i don't see it but it happens often and always about young women he says it means nothing but i find it to be disrespectful he also enjoys the viewing of internet porn. He told me i could not be as pretty as a 25 yr old we are split as of this time hes always been really good to me but am i vain to think he should find me prettier other men seem to find me great looking. I think i'm right in not seeing him I hate to be jealous I work hard at looking good staying fit it's his loss i think or did i overreact jersygirl looking for advice

    I think it's awesome if you work hard at looking good and staying fit. He sounds like a lucky man who gets too much of what he wants. Personally, I don't think his looking at porn is good at all. Essentially he's telling you that you're not enough for him and he's got to find more somewhere else. Sure it may not be directly cheating, but it's an outright statement that he's interested in other women. Even if he's nice to you, doesn't eliminate the fact that he objectifies women in his spare time, and wants to keep you under his thumb telling you that you'll never be attractive enough. You shouldn't take the shit from him.

    He sounds like a complete ass. You can do better. He is an old fart in a midlife crisis. He will be that old man driving his sports car with a 22 year old stupid gold digger sitting next him. Are men blind? These women who go with older men are gold diggers and don't want to work. That's hard to figure. And sorry you may have a hot bod, but a 25 year old has a hotter bod. But looks aren't everything. Let me ask you, does your bod look the same as when you were 25? It has to be a bit wrinkled. You never said how old you are. You may be a bit vain, but he is rude. Find a new man.

    He's going through a mid life crisis for sure. He's 56 and he needs a reality check. What does he have in common with a 25 year old? Nada. He's dreaming and obviously this is why he is single now, good for u :)

    A 25 year old would regard him as her dad or grandad, so he needs to grow up. I agree with KatieLiz, he sounds like a letch. He should be glad to have you. Find yourself a nice guy and if you do go back, why not comment on fit younger lads than him and see if he likes it!!

    Thank God you're not with him anymore. I don't care how old you are, every woman deserves a real man that makes her feel special, not insecure. If he couldn't respect you enough to stop doing what bothered you, then he definitely did not deserve you. In fact, he deserves no one.

    Sounds like you are the one who needs to grow up. He is an older man of course he finds younger women are more attractive as i am sure you probably find younger men attractive and probably even think about being with one from time to time its perfectly normal. Everyone watches porn reguardless of age so that is nothing to be worried about either. As for him running off with a younger woman? Well i wouldnt worry he is 56 so unless he has tons of money hey probably wont ever get any of these women even if he tried, which im sure he never will

      He is an insensitive jerk! You need to find a man that thinks you are awesome..at his age if looks are what he is most concerned with then i'd say he never matured mentally...He sounds dreadful! Please carry on with your life and find a more suitable matched..someone you are equally yoked...
