My skin feels so gross (psoriasis & acne)

I have dry skin rashes all over my body and bad acne in my face and on my back. The top of my scalp has gone bald because I have a big rash there that bleeds and releases liquid puss. It trickles down my neck during the day. My face gets oily about an hour after I take a shower. I tried all the treatments and nothing works, my doctor said it's hormones and I just have to live with it 'til it goes away. I don't think I can live this way for another 3-4 years, I want to just lay in a bathtub and stay there permanently.

    im no doctor.. but for some reason when you said its ur hormones, i felt like suggesting that maybe hormone blockers would be a seemingly fitting resolution? i dont know anything about it, but thats just the first thing that came to mind.

    What country do you live in? Any gp practicing in the western world should be following proper protocol here - IE trying you on antibiotics, steroid creams, vitamin a injections etc.

    Then if that stuff doesn't work they should refer you to a dermatologist who specialises in your skin condition.

    Get a new doctor and then file a formal complaint against the first doctor. They either forgot everything they were taught in med school or they are intentionally giving you bad advice, and either way that is scary as fuck and needs to be looked into.

    I have psoriasis and it pisses me off to no end.

    It's all over my face and head it makes me feel ugly or disfigured at times even when I put something on my face still pills and flakes up.
