For men, shoes are merely functional, like socks and underwear.
He might have work shoes and street ones, MAYBE even some flip flops.
For women, there are functional shoes, dress shoes, new shoes, old shoes...
Over 100 pairs is a little excessive but not unheard of.
I think 6-10 is normal. 20 is getting excessive. I hate clutter, though.
That sounds like a shopping addiction. People laugh but that's a real thing, it can be helpful to have therapy for it.
Everybody has their obsessions. But if she truly has 100 pairs of shoes, she probably could have spend the money elsewhere more beneficial.
My mom has about 26 pairs. Funny enough, she only wears 3 pairs of shoes for most of the year. Says those are her "daily shoes" and the rest are for special occasions. But those special occasions are our birthdays, Easter, Christmas, New years eve, two other Bulgarian Christian holidays I can't be bothered to translate and that's it XD
The rest of the shoes just sit there in a shoe drawer.
It's kinda funny, but she likes it, so no harm done.
Tho 100 does seem excessive... Maybe she's a shopaholic? Real thing apparently...
Iām a woman but I will never understand the obsession with shoes. A few pairs of fancy shoes and one pair of everyday runners or workboots is enough. Sounds like your wife may have hoarding tendencies.
What a waste of money. One or two pairs is enough. I can think of so many other nice things I can buy instead of buying all those shoes. XD
Idk but I have one pair I wear like everyday. In total I have like two pairs and some flipflops I hardly wear only to the beach. 100 is just a fucking addiction at this point.
