My wife's family made my cat jewish iin?

So I married a Jewish girl and her family was protesting this interfaith marriage but we worked things out, now we are happily married. But I think they are tryin to convert my cat now, whenever they come over they try and sneak the pork chop scraps I feed him out of his dish without me seeing but I see it. This culminated in me walking in on the family in a panel before the cat asking it questions about it's religion. The cat was wearing a Kippah. A FUCKING KIPPAH oh god tell me this isn't normal?

The idea of a cat in a kippah made me laugh out loud. It's nice to see some funny stories here again. It's a shame people keep saying they're troll posts. I wish IIN had a category of things where it is acknowledged from the start that they are untrue and the OP is just trying to amuse us.

When did trolls stop being people who wanted to cause anger and start become people who want to cause laughter?

Credit to the OP. This really did make me laugh out loud.

Don't let them near him with any sharp objects. It's not his fur they want to trim.

" sneak the pork chop scraps I feed him out of his dish without me seeing but I see it. "

So... Remind them that they just violated their own Kosher rules. The laws of kashrut prohibit handling unclean meat period. Handling a pig that's alive is OK - you can keep them as pets afaik, but once it's dead it falls into the category of "unclean".

So picking it out of the food bowl means... they just touched dead pig and defiled themselves. *evil grin*

But seriously... it's a cat. There's only one religion cats follow - the Church of Worshipping Myself.

If it's a longhair then give it payot and that should satisfy them.

That's great. When I read this, I couldn't help but picture Ben Stiller somewhere in your family.

Me too. I even came back to this post just now to see if anyone had posted an update. I've been thinking about this thing all damn afternoon. The idea of the family forming a panel to quiz the cat on theological issues too. I just love this post. I want to go to a Cat Mitvah.
