Nate ruess has a weird voice

I can't be the only one who thinks this? Every few seconds of his songs, I go back and forth from liking the song and then to trying to understand how his voice could even be mainstream accepted.

I know some of it is whatever effects they use on his voice (unless he altered his means of singing) because in his old stuff while with the band, The Format, it didn't seem nearly as weird.

P.s.- if you don't know who he is, he sings in the band, "Fun". Singles include "carry on", "we are young", and "some nights"

    I listened to one song, (nothing without love) sounds like it has been autotuned. Perhaps thats where you get the wierd voice thing. Listened to another track & I wish I hadn't.
