Need help.

Could you help me choose the right answer below and why that is the correct one but not the others?
1 The trip (contains / includes/ offers/ has ) a visit to theme park
2 Tom ( contributes/ attitudes) his success to luck
3 The ( pointers/ hands / fingers / indications) on the town-hall showed it...
How do we tell the difference between those words. I so confused cuz i think they nearly have the same meaning.. which in case we have to use dis words but not the others? Help! Thax advance

    1. Any of them will work but includes or offers sound best.
    2. Attributes
3.Townhall clock hands. We call them hands. Don't know why.

For a Asian ( a Vietnamese actually ) I live in a country that English is not our first language.. so, how could we know exactly how to say a sentence naturally , effortlessly in English before learning it again and again :)) I mean there is must be the ways explaining why we choose a word to fill in a blank.. why it is the correct answer in this case?? St like that.. I know yr a native speaker so you just do it, saying English automatically, instantly.. and of course its always right.. ( grammar, spelling,.)I'm jealous!
