Need to teach basic law in schools

I think we need to teach basic laws in regards to traffic stops in school. Like for example if you resist arrest cops are legally allow to do "pain compliance" to get you under arrest. Resisting arrest includes pulling away, saying no, saying hold on, or running away. 99% of the police brutality videos are of someone resisting arrest and then the cop tazes, pepper sprays, slams them or whatever. And then they wonder why the officer wasnt disciplined. Resisting arrest basically gives them the authority to hurt you abit. Dont like it? Then try to change the law.

Next time I see a youtube video of a guy saying "he tazed me for speeding" I want a professor to appear and say "No, dumbass he tazed you because you did not present ID during a traffic stop that had probable cause and then when he placed you under arrest you wrestled away from him! This gave him full legal authority to fuck you up."

    Keep a corona handkerchief with you(wipe it on every door knob and hospital/pharmacy gate you find). Then say sir/maam can you hold my handkerchief while i find my id/license/whatever?

    It was common sense in my area. You would have to be either drunk or stupid to think that you could talk your way out of showing ID. To physically try to get out of being arrested is commonly known to open the door for you to get the crap beaten out of you or get shot.

    Another point should be added to the post about the geniuses in the world that quickly reach into their pants for something and then are surprised when they get shot. If you are shot for other reasons you can always sue... unless your dead, but then your family can sue and if it's a real fuck up cop case it's a guaranteed win against the state.

      They talk shit and be annoying as hell to the cop and then give the cop the ability to beat them up by resisting and are surprised when he does it. If you piss people off they want to take revenge. So why would anyone resist arrest? It has to be stupidity and ignorance. I have never heard of a cop placing someone under arrest and the person talked their way out of it after they were told to put their hands behind their back. Thats already gone past the point of return

    The point is so that people look crazy and make poor decisions. That’s why we need the police to keep all those terrible people in line!

    Even if people resist arrest that is no excuse for them to get beaten electrocuted or injured. The police that do that are abusing their power and they are psychopaths.

      by their policy they are supposed to use pain compliance to get someone thats resisting in the handcuffs. If you dont like that then try to get the law changed to make resisting arrest legal or something. But dont play victim when you resist and you get tazed. Because you know it is policy. Just because you think its wrong to taze someone for resisting doesnt mean you wont get tazed for resisting. Dont be a martyr and dont be surprised when it happens. If you dont want to get tazed just get arrested and go to court.
