I can not relate. If you have any signs of an addictive personality, don't do it.
I don't think it would hurt to try it if you're curious about the taste, except for if you have an addictive personality, add dirtybirdy said.
Personally, I don't think you're missing out on much. The only drinks I've really liked the taste of are pretty weak ones in which you can barely even taste the alcohol in them, if at all. Even then, I never have more than one drink at a time, as I hate the tipsy feeling (and have never actually been fully drunk). I also get a headache after more than one drink.
What is your motivation for trying alcohol? Is there any history of alcohol, or other substance abuse in your family of origin?
same here, aged 24. probably drank less than one full glass over my whole life so far. i find the taste just absolutely unbearable and overwhelming; i don't wanna get drunk and say something i could be ashamed of later; and it's just bad for you in so many ways.
if you actually enjoy it it's one thing, but otherwise there's really no reason haha
Perfectly normal. Some religions forbid it outright. My brother doesn't drink alcohol but that's because he just doesn't care for it.
