New core i5 chips freezes laptop screen

I have a new HP Pavilion dv4 laptop with new core i5 CPU installed. My problem is whenever i am trying to play a game lke Planet vs Zombies and Fate screen freezes inbetween for couple of seconds. I have updated my graphics card driver with the latest one still the problem persists. Is there anything else I should do to fix the problem? Please help!

    Before you install the latest graphics card driver for the Intel Core i5 HD, you should remove any other graphics driver so that the Windows won’t mess up the drivers. You should update the software and firmware for the graphics card too. Some software such as DirectX would affect the graphics, so you should check for those software updates as well.
