New york or pennsylvania
Sorry, I just wanted to continue the trend!
In my opinion they’re both awesome states (a little tax heavy,) but I’d likely chose New York.
New York has a much more diverse topography: it borders 2 Great Lakes, the ocean, Niagara Falls, thousands of natural, deep lakes as opposed to Pennsylvania’s mostly man-made lakes , the Adirondack’s are actual mountains compared to Pennsylvania’s highest points. And while I love Pennsylvania’s ridge and valley scenery it just becomes repetitive. But Pennsylvania might one over New York with cute, hilly Amish farm towns.
You have both the brightest night sky and some of the darkest on the east coast, and since New York is further north you’re more likely to see the auroras.
Also present day NYC is way better than Philly, but I like Philly’s history better. Pittsburg beats all of New York’s secondary cities though.
