Newer phones suck

I do not like the new age version of phones...

Android and iOS are nice and all, but the phones themselves I dislike.

The screens are huge - who the hell needs a 4.5 inch screen? As long as I can see what's on the screen it doesn't need to be enormous

They all look the same - All the android phones have the same basic build design; 4.5 inch screen, 4 capacitive buttons, touch screen, etc. The iPhone as well, through all of it's models, has looked almost exactly the same.

The battery life - Battery life on these dual core and quad core phones suck. They last maybe a few hours, but not nearly as long as they should for being considered such high end phones.

Now look back at all of the older phones - they can last for DAYS, and they can call text and do the things you need to do.. so tell me, is it normal that I think newer phones suck?

I will always love my basic little flip phone. That's all I need; I hate the new touch screen shit.

I totally agree and the touch screens fuck up really easily.

I do most of my net activities on my smartphone and it has all but replaced only the most advanced needs on a regular pc which I rarely switch on now. So I do need a 'huge' screen.

I love my smartphone. But sometimes I wish I was using my old phone or even no phone at all. But once you get exposed to something it's hard to let go...

They had a lot of hype when they first came out too.

yeah i agree. i dont use any apps on my phone, i only got it because it had free music downloads for 12 months. i dont think having all of your information on your phone is good, too many people rely on technology now and have heart attacks when they lose their phone or it breaks down. i still write phone numbers in a phone book. can you believe that? there are still pens and paper around!

I have had my razr phone for about 4+ years now. It still has the original battery in it. I charge it up every morning, and it lasts all day long.

I only use my phone to text, but the phones that you talk about are smartphones, meaning that you are meant to use them to work from and play music and games on, as well as other things. I have an LG that cost me about £50, and an iPod Touch. This combination costs about the same as an iPhone, except that the phone is actually good, not crap.

Also, you forgot that the tariffs cost £35 a month, but give you no more than a £20 a month on any other phone.

In a few months you'll be saying "I just don't understand these blasted teenagers nowadays with all their crazy tomfoolery and new age gadgets!"
