No period for over a year

I've been on birth control for about 10 years and in the past year or do I've had no period even during the placebo pills.not that I mind cause I hate getting it but is it normal for a woman on long term birth control to stop having periods all together?

What's more shocking is you have not consulted a doctor on this issue yet :/

    • I have; gyno said" it happens" and that it's no concern but I wonder how common it is.

of course that's a concern. Doctors should try being real for once.

Theres a number of reasons this may happen, but seeing a doctor is the best way to tell exaclty what.

Any extreme diet & health changes can offset ur period a lot (i know when my depression was at its worth i wouldn't have a period for over 4 months at a time).

Its not ur birth control stopping it, but other health factors.

How old are you. Perhaps you went through menopause and you didn't notice it.
