When people say things like "So what oil prices are going up. Gas is used too much anyway" it really sounds like they either dont have a basic understanding of economics or they're totally drunk on their coolaid.

    Its only a problem when these people start to make policy about gas and oil.

    You dont need to understand how it works if you just buy it. It becomes a massive problem if you start shutting down pipelines for objectively stupid reasons.
