Old, sick, fat arrogant co-workers?

Is it common for older people to strut around confidently because they've been in the company so long they think they have value and deserve respect, when in reality they're as expendable as everyone else?

And also for these same people to be fat and sick all the time from sitting on their fat asses for so long, coughing constantly and eating from their huge jar of old halloween candy?

I would love to see one of these cocky 50+ mother fuckers get fired and realize their life means nothing.

    They get fired all the time, just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. More than likely it means you weren't employed in an office environment in 2008, that was a time of great blood letting. Lots of people that had been loyal to the company where let go after being there 20 years and then their skill set wouldn't allow them to get the same kind of job and they ended up working at Blockbuster or Arby's.

    The one's you're seeing are right to be arrogant as they managed to somehow miss the great purge of 2008.

    Working for corporate is a waste of time. You have absolutely no job protection and no rights as an employee AND you are expected to do as told. So after 5 yrs of 50+ hrs a week, the CEO makes a dumb decision and the stock drops guess what? He isn't getting fired he's on the board of directors for the companies of the CEOs that are on his board of directors, so it's all bullshit. Yup, we decided to lay off 5,000 employees, you're one of them, goodbye.

    Just get a government job, where you do almost nothing and trade the potential for making money for zero stress. And contribute to taking down this bullshit society.
