Omnipotent shell
So I had this dream right?
I was sitting on the floor of a room, it was my room by some instinctive dream knowledge but I didn't look like any room I can remember seeing. Behind the door there was a small pumpkin that seemed to be making small movements like a heartbeat I guess or similar to how slow coral creatures moved, you don't recognize what it's doing until you come back n 30 minutes and it's on the wall. The way it looked was weird too, it was shaped like a small pumpkin but it was yellow and dull like it was painted with thick cheap paint that had dried in asymmetric blobs. It felt like if you touch it it'd squish a little and need more time to dry. It lay there kinda upside down on it's stem and I could see an eye in the bottom. A single black ringed eye as if it had on heavy eye shadow. It looked fake like someone drew a cartoon eye and blended it well to make it look like it had 3 dimentions. The eye didn't roll in its socket it but the flesh around it quivered like it wanted to blink.
It creeped me out but looking at it I knew what it was. It was an Omnipotent shell. It was everything, knew everything, could become anything. It wasn't your roman god or your abrahamic god or your japanese land god, it was an empty shell. Touching it was dangerous. Looking at it dangerous. Being in the same dimension as it was dangerous.
So being the smartest dreamer in the universe I picked it up.
It felt like a gourd, but the flesh felt rubbery as if the skin where coated in rubber yet slightly fuzzy like the rubber had somehow grew felt. I could feel it move in my hand then I wanted to throw it down the hall. I couldn't.
Before I knew it it was inside me and this is where the weirdest shit happened. Every time I breathed I felt it move. Inhale it was at my neck. Exhale it was over my ears. Inhale it was inside my scalp, exhale it was under my hair. It felt like it was crawling all over me underneath my skin itself. I couldn't let go of it because it was me now. I was it.
I forced myself to wake up after that, it was creepy as hell.
I'm wondering, have any of you lot had a dream that effected your sensory input that much. I mean it felt real.
Also the only reason I remember so much detail is cause I only just woke up, I had to write a dream like this down. Even as someone who doesn't believe that dreams have meaning. Dude what if a thing like that existed in the universe? An omnipotent ....thing. With no urges, no creative need, something that just is and will ingest another being simply because the opportunity arises. Thats far scarier than satan I'd say. At least Satan can pull off a leotard.
