On my first day of work. i really missed my old job

Something just made me think about people who I enjoyed talking to and bugging. Today on my first day at work, I thought about asking my old boss if I could go back only to see a few people who I kind of got close to but no I need to get over it and focus on my new job

    hey,

    I just want to say that it's very normal people miss their old job in fact probably millions of people who are out there who are wearing the same shoes as you. Missing an old job is like missing the town you used to live in, it will take some time to adjust although.

    Best place you will ever live or work is the place you just left or the place you are going to.

    Seldom is it the place you're at. Grass is always greener somewhere else, until you get there.

    Ive experienced this. I still work at the same company but when I started I worked in this area on nightshift and everyone hung out after work because everything was closed. Nothing else to do. We use to go over this dudes house get drunk smoke weed and most of the time box, or hit pads or something. If people had beef at work we were always instigating trying to get them to come box after work and sometimes they would and it was hilarious. Those were good times.
