On religion
People who don't believe in a God, naturally also don't believe a God can punish them for any crime they may commit. Still, the vast majority of atheists don't become criminals. Morality alone is enough to keep them in check.
But what about those very few atheists, to whom morality ISN'T reason enough to behave themselves? They would only be kept in check IF they believed a certain God would punish them. Regarding such people, isn't religion necessary?
Religion may be nonsense alright, but what if good things (like people not engaging in crime) came from it regardless?
