I kind of like how small the community is. It's fun to recognize usernames and to sometimes even be able to tell who submitted a post by the language they use. And when communities get too big like with Twitter or Reddit, it just turns into a mob mentality where anyone who offers a thought that deviates even the slightest bit from the groupthink, everyone immediately turns and pounces on that user
