Then, a 34 ( ! ) yr old guy breaks up with his wife, so you let your THIRTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER stay at his place for a few days?

It is NEVER appropriate to let your 13 year old daughter spend the night with a 34 year old man (let alone 'a few'!?), EVER! I don't care how religious you are. You *should* have known something was fishy, and I would go "all in" that he's the man you are looking for.

I don't mean to add to your grief, but I would almost be wondering if he didn't force himself on your daughter, or had been planning this all along. But then...they both could have been planning 'that stay' together and you are looking at a relationship that has gone on for much longer than you realize. Does she have internet access to a computer?

Just because you think you raised your child with deep Christian morals and values doesn't mean they are taken to heart. Young minds cannot always grasp the complexities that we as adults can, and a young child looks to adults for guidance, praise, acceptance, etc. and this person might have preyed on those emotions with your daughter.

I hope, as do the others who have commented, that this is a hoax. If not, I would suggest that you both re-evaluate your own perceptions and outlook on things and update them accordingly. We all want to trust each other, but protecting our children comes first. You should have taught your daughter to say, "No!" and donkey-punch him in the b@lls when he didn't take that as his answer.

If this is real, then it's the fault of the stupid parents. Religion itself is for fools and idiots. Sex before marriage is NOT a sin, even for 13 year olds. But allowing her to stay with an older man is a sign of stupid parents. If she had been having sex with boys her own age (or near her age) then there is nothing at all wrong with it.

Go to the police immediately, they will arrest the men and force them to have DNA tests. Insist on multiple tests and make sure both men are supervised during testing. If these too are the culprits they are sick and should be in jail. Don't confront them personally as that would be dangerous.
