          its okay you don't have to, I just thought it was worth a mention because many believe it was a landmark game that defined the genre somewhat. I still play it, it still holds up to this day. I'm heavily into retro gaming though.

    I'm surprised COD4 doesn't have any votes....I like all three Modern Warfare games, but I spent the most days on MW2 so I voted for that.

    I've played on all of these games apart from spear of destiny which I haven't actually heard of. The best first person shooter ever is Perfect dark on the N64.

    Online, I would have to say Halo Reach, and Call of Duty Black Ops comes second for online gameplay.

    As for single player, I would say Bioshock 1. I never took much of an interest in Bioshock 2, I didn't find it as good, and I barely made it to level two due to lack of interest. I think it was because I was playing as a "big daddy", I prefer playing as usual male characters, not big, bulky, water suit, metal, robot men.

    Actually, as favourite single player game, I would say Deus Ex: Human revolution, I didn't see it on the list there. Great game, and I definetly recommend it. Are the other two Dues Ex's got the same graphics as Deus Ex: Human Revolution? Or is it very old styled game? Either way, I hope they make more of the Deus Ex games like they did with the later Deus Ex game, it was one of the first person shooters that I actually liked for single player, and I mainly just go on to play multiplayer on consoles.
