I do, too. But this poll is on physical attraction. Not personality. That's a compeletely different question.
Still though...physical attraction to me is the muscle tone, hair, eyes, smile, etc. I'm not like "oh damn that guy is darker than me...can't jump him now."
I never said I would dismiss someone soley based on their skin colour. I have liked many different types of people regardless of their race. I was trying to express that I usually, in most cases, find myself attracted to asians. And there is nothing wrong with that at all. Everyone has a preference. That doesn't make me racist at all.
Also, skin colour is a defining feature just like "muscle tone" and "teeth". So why is it bad to label it as so? Can't you see that your definition of physical attraction is the same as mine? Certain races are more likely to carry certain traits. Most obvious for asians are their monolid eyes (Not all are born with them mind you, but undeniabely most are). And I think that's what make them attractive for me. Some people like blonds. Just because whites are the only race that can natually produce the blond hair colour doesn't mean people who like them are racist.
Everyone is attractive in their own way..yeah cliche...but it's true everyone is beautiful to me at least...
I really don't see the point in comparing different races of people to each other as we are all quite different. This poll is based on a divisive, negative premise that some racial group(s) is/are less attractive by default. I would like to share an excerpt from one of my favorite literary works:

Thank you Gems for your kind comments. Posts and polls like these are very common on Is It Normal. I wonder why some people really feel compelled to push the issue of racial separateness. I would prefer to see a world where we all have more in common than less. You seem to be of the same mind. :)

I'm sorry you feel that my poll is negative, Kerris. But I don't believe I am pushing the concept of "racial separateness". Or at least that was not my intention. And I would like to make this clear: I do not believe certain races are "more attractive by default"! The reason I made this poll was because I wanted to see what other people's preferences were. Simple as that. And maybe to show that all races are loved, for the very reason that they are different.
While we can all agree we want to be treated equally, I don't not believe we should act like we are the same. Because we're not. And that is good. We should celebrate our diversity.
And lasty, this poll was made very light heartedly and I had no intention of it being taken this seriosuly. Please don't take it that way. It's just a poll :)
You have set up this poll as a competition. In competitions, there are winners and there are losers. In your competition, those who receive more votes are perceived as the social "winners" while those who receive the least votes are perceived as the social "losers". When the "team" is a group of human beings, it becomes (racially) offensive for many to conduct such a polling.
Blacks,Asians, and whites are not the only racial groups on this planet of importance. A racial group reading this that is not included in your poll may take umbrage to being excluded from it. Native Americans, for instance, are constantly being overlooked in social discourse on IIN in spite of the fact that the redressing of their social marginalization is long overdue.
Over all, you offend more people than you entertain with this poll and, if you are as innocuous in your intent as you claim, you should really delete this poll and try to re-craft something less judgmental.

This douche bag talks a bunch of smack about not meaning to offend people with this poll and,yet, people are constantly commenting on this thread that they are offended and he is ignoring or trivializing their comments. Haha, WOW! Judging from these results, my suspicions are confirmed that this site really IS troll central!
Because the most popular option is Black and the least popular is Asian.
It is not my intention to offend anyone, but let's face it: generally speaking, Asians (and Whites) are much more attractive than Blacks. I'm willing to bet that most people would agree with me.
I'm attracted to that caramel skin-tone of a white/black mix.
Or just white males, but not gingers o_O
Everybody has physical preferences, and certain races conform or don't conform to that physical preference. I expect that preference is largely shaped by nurture; the culture and environment you grow up in.

I'm a guy. If a lady is beautiful, and sexy, her race doesn't matter. However, I must admit, that I have an attraction for Latinas!
I don't knoow why, but they seems exceptionally attractive to me.

all the white celebrities that u see on tv have tons of makeup on. if they don't they might just as well break the glass when they look into the mirror. that doesn't go against race though but i still think asians are the prettiest at least the ones i met:)
To me, I consider white people the most attractive, if only because many of them are born with straight noses and have a lovely eye color.
But I've also seen many, many attractive Asians too. (I'm Asian myself.) So it's not like I'm hating on my own race! As for black people, well, I think they have amazing teeth. :)
What I find interesting about the plethora of discussions on IIN about what race someone is attracted to is that it is such a "general" question... Every race on the planet contains at least one person that I will find dateable. Indeed, I could post nonsense on here about exclusively dating Asians, but, if I ever get shipwrecked on a desert island with no possibility of rescue with an attractive African and an ugly Asian...I am not going to NOT consider dating the African.
There is something sinister and bigoted about this wholesale cataloguing of racial groups as a single "look" that you have carte blanche to either give a thumbs up to or a thumbs down to.... This is as dumb and as short-sighted as my saying:
"Oh, I have a blind date with a Chinaman??? Nooooo....they all have those super squinty eyes, those creepy pie faces, those buck teeth, and I don't like those goatees....noooo..... and they are all way too short for me and their only means of transportation is a rickshaw!"
Even if you didn't like asians, it doesn't mean you're hating on your own race at all. Too many people are quick to assign the "racist" card when it's not even necessary. I like whites, asians, blacks, etc. But my preference is asian. That doesn't make me a racist.
