Im 24 year old female, and sometimes after i have an orgasm either with a partner or solo play. I get this cramping pain in my lower abdomen. Iv noticed its only when my period is close, like a week before my period. The pain last for about 20 minit after iv had an orgasm. Do any other girls have this problem??
It's called dysorgasmia and the causes can be mysterious. One cause could be muscle cramps - doing some kegels before sex might help. The various other potential causes require a pelvic exam. Tell your doc if you're on the pill and what dose.
I did tell my doctor nearly 2 years back. They toke out my implant because i was getting pain all the time really bad to the point i was screaming in pain, and the doc put me on the pill. Which helped regulate my periods. Then i noticed i was only getting the pain close to my period. I ended up goin though a long process with doctors. I actually went in to have 2 operations. One where i had a fibroid removed, after all that pain from surgeries, my surgeon basically just said "well, if that doesn't work then there's nothing eles we can do for you." and just kicked me out the door so to speak. I never heard anything from him again. So I've just been living with it, cause i was under the impression that their was nothing eles they could do to help me. This pain is just goin to be something i have to live with.
