Part timer or full timer? and why?

Think I prefer part time cause you get more time to yourself and don’t have to be around a bunch of customers all day!!! When you’re full time, you gotta be around rude customers like 40 hours a week!!!

    • I only work one job and it's fairly easy but I work between 60 and sometimes 125 hours a week. Its exhausting but it's more money than I'm used to so I keep going. I hope I can save enough to one day quit this shit for good and get a regular 40 hour job.

I just love people like you and me who sacrifice for what we need. We're becoming a rare breed these days. 👍

UPS!!! Depending on where you live they sometimes start good. Its 14 an hour start in my city but they will train you to drive and thats when you make the big bucks. Its cool tho because the company runs off seniority so its almost like going to college. If you start young you'll be top dog in your 30s and get to choose whatever job you want. The jobs go to the most seniority person that bids.

Oh and the company will pay 1500 a semester to any college you go too.

My bills are low enough I get away with part time.
I just do not have the energy to deal with full time.

I might though if I had a job somewhere that they didn't micromanage like at my present job.

And unlike megadriver who is materialistic and wants it all, I just want and need enough to get by.

Full time job, 5 days a week, 9 to 5, selling cars.
Saturday job 6-8 hours driving a bus. I see it more as a leisurely drive I get paid for.
Managing my own business - hours vary, usually 1-2 hours every day, including Sundays.

Gotta make money. All the dreams I have and cars I want ain't gonna happen by themselves.

I work 33hrs over 3 days, sometimes up to 44 over 4 or 5 days. I was looking for up to four 10hr days. Got so lucky with this job. Few years back I was working up to 60hrs a week, with some 12-14 hr days. Never again. It's too much and my health suffered - mentally and physically. Not to mention my social life.

I'm comfortable with my earnings. It pays enough to cover what I have to, and still pay into savings. I've never had a job where I had paid holiday or sick leave, but that's cos technically, I'm self employed and my work is more like a contractor.

I need to have days off because my job can be exhausting, plus when I'm at home I'm helping my mother look after my grandmother. Or sleeping. Sleep is good.

Part time is great if you can afford it. More time for family. Kids grow up so fast, I would hate to miss it all because I was spending all my time working.

I lived in subsidized housing?? They base rent here off your income and how much you earn?? I’m paying like 550 a month to live here and I work part time?

I work full time. I pay my half of the mortgage, car insurance, and a few other bills. Part time would be nice, but it isn't going to cover all that. Lol
