People making eating sounds at movies

Drives me nuts to sit next to people at movies, who makes loud cracking and crunching sounds as they hog down their popcorn / nachos. Anyone else feels mad about this?

    It irritates me as well. If I'm watching a movie, I'm focused. I may or may not instinctively backslap you if you're making too much noise.

    It might be a condition called Misophonia. It's real and unfortunate.

    It bugs me aswell. Once when my mother and I were at the cinema (watching Over The Hedge) and the guy in front of us was eating M & M's and I could HEAR the crunching from where I was sitting.

      Most theaters aren't that crowded. Why not sit away from other people? It's normal for people to eat snacks at the movies. Some snacks are noisier than others. It's to be expected.
