People who play music in public

I can't go anywhere without listening to music I'm so used to putting in headphones and playing an album that if I ever go for a walk whether it's to the shops or on a log walk I get bored and feel like something is missing if I'm not listening to and album
If I can't find my headphones which happens a lot I'll just play it on my phone out loud and out it in my pocket, the walks I do are usually down small residential streets anyway so its not too busy and if someone does pass me I dit play it too loud and they'll be out of earshot again in a minute anyway so I never saw anything wrong with until a guy had a go at me for doing it then when I got home my family agreed with him 100% and said they hated it when people do that, its selfish and I should be ashamed

So how do you feel about people who play music when walking down the street?

    How I feel about this issue depends on how crappy I think the other person's music is and how loud they're playing it.

    I'd say it would only be dickheads who would get angry cause of this. A brief moment of someone else music played quietly on a phone is hardly invading personal space. If I was listening to something myself and it was loud enough to ruin the song I'm listening to that would annoy me though.

    I go through headphones like alcoholics go through beer cans, so I definitely feel ya. As long as it isn't blaring to the point that I could you hear it from like 3 blocks away, no harm no foul.

    I hate it when a car-truck pulls up by me at a red light and their music and bass is so loud I cant hear my own music.
