People who slurp
Is it normal to want to yell at, slap or otherwise make stop, someone who slurps when they drink something.
Like the sound of it gives me goosebumps and makes my anger level explode inside.

You have misophonia ..
I've had it since I was a kid, people eating, drinking, breathing loudly is unbearable ..
The rage is so intense I'm surprised I haven't murdered anybody yet ..
Slurping (soup) is extremely irritating. As is clanking cutlery off your teeth & chewing with your mouth open.
OMG!!! I can't stand it at all. I hate the slurping, the smacking, and any other loud sounds while someone is eating. I have had a boyfriend for 2 and 1/2 years now, and for some reason, in the last 1/2 year he has started smacking and it makes me want to hit him. It makes my skin crawl! I hate it! Oh god, do I hate it!
I don't care if anyone slurps, chews with their mouth open, etc. But the one sound that makes me enraged is someone sneezing loudly. I want to scream at them to shut the fuck up. I want to break something if they sneeze right afterwards. Judging from how common people are triggered by certain sounds, I would say it's normal.
Slurping doesn't bug me but what DOES bug me is when someone says "Ahhhhh" after they drink something. My mother sometimes does it when drinking tea and it annoys the hell out of me, when I hear it I want to yell "Stop it!" and hit her with a brick lol.
I want to stick a knife in them. I always eat alone in order to avoid any noises.
