Period 4 days late, but negative pregnancy tests

I was expecting my period to come on February 17, but it hasn't appeared yet and it is now the 21st. I have taken four pregnancy tests, including one today, and they were all negative. I am scared because I have never been late in my entire life; my period is always like clockwork.

It seems unlikely I could even be pregnant, because my fiancé and I only did some naked grinding; he didn't put it inside me and did not ejaculate. It's possible he had precum on the tip, but what are the chances of getting pregnant from rubbing against precum? Seems pretty unlikely! But I'm definitely worried I did get pregnant from it since I am 4 days late. What do you think?

    Sometimes it's just late. Your cycle can change as you get older. Also contraceptives can affect it.

    Also if you immediately started stressing about your period being late then this will make it later. Nothing quite like being paranoid you're pregnant to stop your periods.

    It is possible to get a false negative on a pregnancy test but you're late enough now that it's really unlikely. With this pregnancy I got a faint positive line the day before my period was even due.

      I think I'm scaring myself by reading stuff online too. Some women were saying they were pregnant but didn't test positive until like day 18 Or some crap. That freaked me out!

      If sex weren't so good I would give it up. Being pregnant is my worst nightmare.

        Take a deep breath and do something that you enjoy. Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself. Stay focused on keeping yourself calm and processing all the emotions this brings up. I hope everything works out well for you.

    12 days late now and no end in sight :( my HCG blood test was negative, but I'm still worried.

    4 days late is nothing to worry about...sometimes it just happens for no clear reason.

    Are you on the pill? It's possible you messes up your cycle by mistake dosing. If you have shown 4 negative pregers tests the only other explanation is you're going to birth the second coming of JESUS!

    Seriously though there are many environmental factors that can throw off your cycle, like: stress, diet, accidental hormones, radiation, physical exertion, etc.

    If you're testing negative and your period doesn't show up in a day or two go see your OBGYN.

      I have booked an appointment with the doctor. I suppose it could be stress, but I've been stressed before and it's never made me late. I am on an antidepressant but not any birth control.
