I just had my period around 2-3 weeks ago and I started again but this time my discharge has and odor. What's wrong? Getting worried and don't feel uncomfortable telling anyone.

Menstrual discharge always has an odour because it contains blood. If you mean a different to usual unpleasant (eg fishy) odour with itching, you need to see a doctor.
I wouldn't be following Kelili's suggestion about flagyl unless it's prescribed, it's quite a nasty drug and should only be used as a last resort and it's not an antibiotic as s/he says. Check out the side effects, they're not pleasant.
As far as I know, it's only prescribed for one specific vaginal infection, trichomonas.
If you've had unprotected sex you need to get checked out for all STI's and then get yourself some condoms for future activity.
I think that it's most probably a bacterial vaginitis. It happens for no apparent reason sometimes. You take flagyl and those vaginally capsules ( against yeast infection because flagyl is an antibiotic) and normally everything gets back to normal.
If you have been having unsafe sexual habits it could be another STI.
