Please help!! can i get cancer from pcod??

I have polycestic ovarian disease, I was diagnosed when I was around 13, doctors didn't seem to worry I'm 18 now and just heard you can get cancer not having a period, I've only had a few over the years I am so scared right now I never knew this I almost cried!

I'm going to the doctors soon to scan my ovaries and try to get normal periods I'm panicking so much what if I already have cancer I don't want to die please help :''''(
