Does anyone know how to re-catch a feral cat?? We've got a feral cat here who's been not only terrorizing our own cat and it's also coming inside. It had been caught once before (and was stupidly released not far from home) we've tried to catch it but its not taking the bait. Also it's coming inside during the day as well...

Feral cats can be difficult to trap - they will learn and avoid them in the future. I like the suggestion of offer a more tempting bait, some actual chunk tuna or something should entice the kitty.
Other than that, actually hide the trap. Layer it in some bushes or in a little nook, cover the floor with some leaves to hide that it's a cage the cat is walking into. If you've caught them once they may just remember that and are being more cautious now.
Well if it's coming inside just close the door after it did so and it's trapped. Close other indoor doors to tighten the gap.
And it's coming in mostly at night and we don't hear it when iy comes in we conly hear it when it leaves or if our own cat starts growling or if the cats start fighting so it's a bit hard to do that as we can't shut the doors while its inside as it would have left by then...
they probably have a cat door. Pretty Tricky situation. I would say either find it, catch it and bring it to a shelter or somewhere far away or get a dog to defend cat.

Yea we have been trying to figure out how to catch it.. gonna see if we can entice it to get closer to us so we can catch it ourselves...
Dog is a good idea but would rather get a pup and train it ourselves then get an older dog
Getting a cat is 50/50 chance since it might eighter mark it's territory and defend it or start to go out with other cat and encourage it to enter your house. Dog might be a better option thou but watch out not to get to agressive one cause it might kill the cat
Animal control will loan you live traps. You don't have to buy one. Catch the cat and take the cat with the trap back to animal control.
no they wont. they dont loan city property. if they are its because they dont want to do the work and still get paid. Teachers do the same thing at those parent teacher conference . they give you a teaching assignment and tell you your little monster is the best monster
