Law, the others are Mickey Mouse degrees and studying philosophy or anything “social justice” related should be a death penalty offence.

Harsh comment, but probably very good advice.

Life is so much easier when you study something that is actually useful and leads into a well paid profession.

From what you said Id say studying law to be a lawyer is the best thing to do. Philosophy and social justice arent gonna give you many career opportunities. If you're a lawyer in any western country you're gonna get pretty wealthy and have a better life. It also gives you higher social status. Working as a lawyer is more impressive than a school teacher.

Seriously don’t listen to anyone on this site. Go to your school counselor and take a career aptitude test and discuss the results. While the decision is ultimately yours, he can serve as a sounding board and help organize your thoughts

College has very little to do with your longterm carrear.

How would you like to impact the world, what are you interested in doing, how do you want to live and doing what in the future? Those are the most important questions. Then you find a career that enables your answers. It may not involve college at all.
