Police circled me on my walk

So im walking home and I see a pice car pull to tge right ahead of me, then drive through the parking lot on my right and keep going. I get to the intersection and while I'm waiting for the light they pull up in front of me and asked how much further my walk was n stuff like that.

Why would they circle me like that though? This happened at like 230am

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

They were probably looking for someone and you fit the description or something.

It happens far more than people think. Happened in my area, just chilling with friends in a park drinking. Cops role by, we think that shits gonna hit the fan. Cop just asks if we saw a red car, we didnt and he just left.

My brother got asked where he was going/what he was doing while walking home from work(mcdonalds) once. Apparently, his route goes through an area where some drug deals go down or something. It was also at night.

Maybe it was something like that?

Also, it might be more suspicious because it was 2:30 AM.

Yea I beleave it, it definitly makes sense for them to stop me. This morning I freaked out 2 drunk women. All from walking home after work

Walking around at night can get you into trouble. The police will often assume you are there for some sort of negative reason. Or maybe you fit the description of someone they were looking for. Or... maybe they were bored and looking for something to do.

Could’ve been looking for someone. Or they were seeing if you were up to no good given the odd time you’re wandering about.

    It’s called good policing.

That’d be why, one of those two reasons I’d say. Nothing bad.
