Lets just for arguements sake say that there is no God and possessions are all in peoples minds. If a person is possessed by an ancient Indian spirit, one who has never heard of a christian God, would an exorcism by a christian priest work? If its all in the persons mind then you'd think that the possession would continue.

    "for arguements sake say that there is no God" OK I'll buy that, but if there is no god, then where are you getting a "christian priest"? "an ancient Indian spirit, one who has never heard of a christian God," I thought we were working on the premise here
    "that there is no God" so it's pretty certain that this ancient Indian spirit, hasn't heard of something that doesn't exist.

      I said that there is no God, meaning an actual God, not that there is no belief in a God.
