I actually prefer my own dog than my mom, dad, and my brother? mostly because i have no emotional connection with neither of them and my dog is the only one that i'm always with.I was just wondering if that is normal?

    think its cuz u spend more time with ur dog, and that makes u closer to him/her. i feel that way too.

    I feel the same way man, don't feel weird or different. There is a reason a dog is called mans best friend. I have no connection with real family, I love animals more than humans. I cry when an animal dies, never when a human dies.

    It seems unhealthy to form stronger relationships with your pet than with other humans. It must be because your pet doesn't have opinions and doesn't care how boring the stuff you talk about is and it doesn't care how good the grades on your report card are .. . ?

    Not really, if you dont connrct with someone what can you do? .. Dogs maybe a bit weird sometimes, but they are always there to keep you company, and they never pass judgement what more could you want?

    No, it's not normal. If you ever need help, it will be your mom, dad or brother who helps you, not your dog. Besides, dogs are filthy, vile creatures that eat human shit and vomit. You're not saying much for yourself if you prefer the company of something that eats shit and vomit.
