Prefer using a mouse or the finger pad on your computer?

Until very recently, I much preferred the mouse, but I am quickly getting used to the finger pad, due to banging my computer around (its in my pack, and I just throw my pack around after I've been drinking, like there is nothing inside of it.) and then I damaged one of the USB ports, and the other USB port does not work about 70% of the time with my mouse....also I knocked the hard drive out of place...naturally I thought paranoidly that someone had been messing with my hard drive...but it turns out, it was knocked out of its socket, after putting it back in I found that I had to reinstall the operating system onto the hard drive, then drunk, tired, and in a hurry to go to bed I hastily made the wrong choice and went for a full erase of the hard drive and lost about 100 Cd's worth of music he heh heh, I laugh because I still have practically all of it on CD still, but unless I re-rip, I won't be able to stream or transfer MP3's, and I will have to hassle with looking for CD's to listen to...oh well..I'm switching gears to ripping CD's now...

      Hello:

      Please forgive me for sounding like a complete idiot here, but I am one. I am in the market for a new computer and was wondering if you could give me some in depth details about "Apple Computers, especially the MacBook Pro, are they compatable with PC's? I do home based computer work for people and wonder if my MS software would run on it, I have had several PC's and they all have been shyte; always was interested in Apples, please forgive me for being an idiot.

        Hi- I don't know anything about Apple computers, but you know what there is a thread here on "prefer apple computers or PC's?" or something similar, from what I read it is a mixed bag, some preferring one over the other...you just gotta go check it out.

    i have sensors attached to my dick so that i can use it like a joystick. although i usually need a roll of paper towels near by.

    graphic tablet- I used it for everything, even when I wasn't drawing during school. But now, I use a track pad.

    I depends completely on what I'm doing. If I'm just browsing the web I prefer the touchpad, but when I'm, for example, doing something in Photoshop I prefer using a mouse.

    i love the laser mousees...i got a custom painted one to for my laptop n it looks sooooo sexy im on my laptop all day...btw your story kinda went off topic for a while there...started off with mouses and ended with cds

    You guys are right, I definetly prefer a mouse...I have noticed lots of little pain in the ass mistakes can happen with the pad.
