God, are IDT still going? The WinChip was the worst processor ever made. A processor that relies on an application not doing much processing? It's like having a kettle that relies on people not liking hot drinks.
To answer the question, though, I'm an AMD boy.
I would never buy intel or Amd Cpus, it's Centaur Technology where it's at.
Intel.
Though, I have an X4 640 in this machine. (kick myself in the foot)
We'll see what Bulldozer brings to the table.
AMD have good value for money, Intel are all about performance.
For an enthusiast such as myself I find my AMD CPUs don't last very long before I want to upgrade again, so I'm going for an Intel CPU next time.
