Problem with kids sitting on my lap

I have a 4 year old niece. We are very close and I watch out for her. When she sits in my lap I get a hard on and I start to freak out. I try my best to not think about but I'm so afraid that I'm a pedophile. I am no way shape or form attracted to children but it's got me worried. I'm afraid she might ask whats going on down there or tell her parents.

I feel like this is just a normal reaction to any guy with a penis whether he thinks about it or not. Your penis is sensitive to any form of stimuli.

    As long as you don't act on these thoughts, you're not a bad person. For your own sake and for the sake of others, it would be best to talk to someone professional so you can get to the root of why you feel this and you can move on with your life and be happy.

    Self control is one of the things that separates children from adults. Until the time comes that you can manage some, perhaps you'd do well not to let this child sit in your lap.
    Chances are if her parents do find out about your issues, you are going to be pretty much shunned.
    I don't think it has anything to do with pedophilia, just a lack of control.

    It's normal, getting an erection due to body contact, don't worry too much.

    It's the same as having a hot girl sit on your crotch. Also, the mere thought of getting an erection in such situation can make it occur.
